【Indications】
Prevention of invasive Aspergillus and Candida infections.
Applicable to patients aged 10 years and older who are at increased risk for these infections due to severe immunodeficiency. These patients include patients who develop graft-versus-host disease (D) after hematopoietic stem cell transplantation or patients with hematological malignancies who have received prolonged neutropenia due to chemotherapy.
Treatment of oropharyngeal candidiasis includes itraconazole and/or fluconazole-refractory oropharyngeal candidiasis.
Norcofeb is indicated for the treatment of oropharyngeal candidiasis including oropharyngeal candidiasis refractory to itraconazole and/or fluconazole.
[Usage and Dosage]
To prevent invasive fungal infections: once daily. Duration of treatment is based on recovery from neutropenia or immunosuppression.
Oropharyngeal candidiasis: loading dose (.) times daily followed by (.) times daily for days.
Oropharyngeal candidiasis refractory to itraconazole and/or fluconazole: once daily. The duration of treatment is based on the severity of the patient's underlying disease and clinical response.
Nocofib contains suspension (each containing posaconazole) in 1.5 ounce amber glass vials with child-resistant closures (-). Please shake NocoFly thoroughly before use.
It is recommended to rinse the measuring spoon with water after each dose and before storage.
